On Sunday, 14 September 2025, the doors will open to a very special experience: Reinharz village and castle, a stamping point on the Luther Trail, invite you to the Open Monument Day® 2025 – a day that brings history, culture and community to life.
This is what guests can expect:
- Historic Reinharz firestation, open from 10:00 to 16:00
- Baroque village church, open to visitors from 11:00 to 16:00
- Foyer and both ballrooms on the ground floor of the castle, open to the public from 12:00 to 16:00
- Two guided tours of the castle, including the upper floor, at 12:00 and 14:00, max. 25 participants each time
- Delicacies at the “Graf Löser” castle café – light refreshments and snacks in a historic setting
Admission free, donations to support further cultural events are welcome
The event is organised in close cooperation between the Heimat- und Traditionsverein Reinharz e.V., the Evangelische Stadtkirche Bad Schmiedeberg and the Förderverein Schloss “Reinharz” e.V., coordinated nationwide by the Deutsche Stiftung Denkmalschutz (German Foundation for Monument Protection)
