Eventful year 2023

An eventful year is coming to an end. The DLWG and the “Luther Trail in Saxony-Anhalt project are grateful for all the support, encouragement and commitment to the Luther Trail! Heart and soul, creative minds and fellow campaigners in many places have once again made convincing and meaningful projects possible:

In March, together with many committed hands, we planted the first part of a “Luther Forest” in the Düben Heath. In May, the 80-kilometre southern extension of the Luther Trail between Lutherstadt Eisleben and Naumburg was opened. Many thanks to the Saale-Unstrut-Triasland Geo-Nature Park, through which a large part of the route runs, for their joint planning and signposting! The Saxony-Anhalt Luther Trail Coordination Centre also developed the new website www.lutherweg-sachsen-anhalt.de and corresponding QR codes, which now provide hikers and pilgrims with direct information about the Luther Trail and its stations in many places along the route in Saxony-Anhalt.

For all Luther Trail enthusiasts, there will also be the first all-German pilgrim pass at the end of this year, which can be used in all seven federal states with a Luther Trail.

FROM THE HEART we send a THANK YOU to our supporters, friends and sponsors!

We wish you all a blessed Advent and Christmas season and a happy and healthy New Year!
